I've been reading recently about Buddhism and it seems like something that I would like to investigate more.

Where do Buddhists practice in Cork because I've never actually met one and also I'm not up to speed on the whole thing yet so I'd like to chat to someone about in on msn perhaps?

Welcome Fruit1985, you do not need to use msn, talk about it here first, you will reach a greater number of people who all have experience in starting out. I will be happy to answer any questions you have.

There is a great place to go in Cork, although you'd need a car to get there. It's called Dzogchen Beara, it's out past Castletownbere. It's a Tibetan Buddhist Retreat centre. http://www.dzogchenbeara.org/

I started meditating with a group class in my university. It's not aimed at Buddhism but more general.

Anyways, we listened to a tape of someone speaking us through meditation and the technique and I wish to try some myself at home soon. Anybody know where I can get mp3s or a cd to help me through the process?

I've downloaded these podcasts. Are they any good?
