what do ye think lads, my company car is up for a change at the end of the month its a 05 tdci (110 hp ) focus with 105k on it, the only problem is that the new 1.6 engine has dropped in power to 90 bhp is that much of a difference?

    Yep it is.

I owned 2 C-Max with the 1.6TDCI 110bhp engine, and it was a good all rounder. They were excellent vehicles, practical as hell, drove nicely and sipped fuel.

The 1.8 TDCI engine (Lynx) has 115 bhp and pulls like a train. Go for this one if you can. It's available in Activ spec.

p.s. C-Max is due an upgrade shortly. April I think. The Focus 1.8 TDCI Ghia (4 or 5 door) can be had for a bit more money. I've a 4 door on order.
