iv been letting a friend of mine play on my account on PPP now and again because he has no bank account and no means of setting one up.

he heard about vouchers that allow accounts to be set up without a bank account any idea of where they can be picked up??

(the closer to DCU the better)

    thanks in advance

huh? He doesn't need a bank account to set up a PPP account. Just get him to set up a real money account with PPP (which can be done through the software) and then lodge cash by either going into a paddy power betting shop or via credit card.

On a slightly related subject can PP gift vouchers be lodged into a poker account through an Office?

    Hi Bubbleking,
Under no circumstances are you allowed to let anybody else use your account. This matter is taking very seriously and can lead to your account been suspended/closed or even banned from the whole network. If your friend has no CC – he can set up a deposit account and deposit money in any Paddy Power bookmakers throughout the country or alternatively use Paddy Power vouchers which are available nationwide.

    T&C’s

Your account is personal to you. You shall not allow others to use your account or to accept any prize or participate in any of the Games. Any person found to have violated this section will be liable for all losses on the account but will not be entitled to collect any winnings.

    Regards.

I'd say he's talking about V3 vouchers. You register with them and get a sort of credit card which you can top up in a shop like a mobile phone. Poker sites don't accept them.

    How can he cash out?.
Whats to stop users useing this as a way of having several different aliases on the same site?.

My advice is to wait for a free money offer like VCs to come along, sign up there get the free 35$ odd, you lodge money into your PPP account for him, sit into an empty cash game with him and bin money over to him without seeing a flop.

OP, I think I read about this friend of yours with the no bank account

is he a smallish grey-haired guy, worried demeanour - answers to the name of Bertie?
Steer clear of him imo, sounds like a dodgy character from what I've read....

Is it illegal to let people play on your account on all sites?
I do let people play on mine all the time.
Messes up stats on a player I would imagine.

As one of the first posters said you can lodge money into your account via your local paddy power branch.

You set up your sportsbook account
They set up your poker account and when you lodge the money in the branch you need to tell or write on a docket 1)the sportsbook username and 2)Your full name that you gave when regsteringi. They ring up and the money is lodged in the account within minutes and they give you a receipt.

Then cross your fingers tightly and clench your buttocks in the hopes that the nasty collusion detection monster doesnt ban your account and withold your funding for money laundering.. sound advice I say.

Hi bubble. Vouchers only work in the PP shops you cannot use them for an online account. A second alternative is to pick up "scratch cards" which are available in some of the Spar shops.
However the best solution in my opinion is to simply set up an account and deposit cash in any one of the paddypower shops. Your friend can then make withdrawals by cheque.

On PPP part of the t's and c's are that you must play on your own account, that way any notes players may have on your style of play will be valid so just to make you aware of that.

    Regards
    Nikki

Would I not be right in thinking that if he doesn't have a bank account he wouldn't have a credit card. I've not heard of a credit card company giving out cards to non bank account holders. - Just asking.

Other than that I have in the past lodged money into friends poker accounts via the shops. It's all very easy. Set up the account as detailed above and just have username and password. Hand over cash - and it's done. But I don't know how you would then cash out. - Sounds as if that won't be a problem for him though lol.
