    Ok, Ive been having a few problems lately with regards to posting/replying and pm'ing.

    It started when I wanted to post a reply in the Music Review forum, it just kept asking me for my username/password like I wasn't allowed to post. I read the newbie FAQ, the helpdesk thread and used the search facility to see why I cannot post a reply incase I had missed something. I then decided to pm the mod of music reviews Basquille but the same thing happened when trying that.

    I have been able to post in the games forum, and obviously the helpdesk forum also so I'm wondering is there any special access request I need to submit to post in Music Reviews? However this doesnt explain why I am not allowed to PM Basquille.

    Could you advise me where I'm going wrong or if it is an access issue could you look into it?

    Cheers,

    Stooge

    whats also weird is that when I entered the above post, it didnt give me any indication that my post was successfull. just asked me to login again. Starting to think it could be a cookie thing on my PC?

    That last bit in particular makes it sound like a cookie thing right enough.

    Have you tried clearing them?

    Yeah, you're probably right.

    Click this link two or three times;
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/login.php?do=logout

    That should clear your cookies. Then use the login box at the top-right of this page, and tick the "remember me" box. Let us know how you get on.

    Hey guys,

    Thanks for the replies and suggestions. However it still seems a bit strange to me:

    I logged in on the main screen then proceeded to the helpdesk forum. I could see from the top that I was still logged in. I then went into this thread and noticed that I was no longer logged in.

    I havent changed any cookie settings, but have cleared them. Guess I'll wait until I get home from work to see if it makes a difference. Will update you all later.

    Until then Cheers,

    /Stooge
