The forgotten horse. And the forgotten trainer, the only time I ever read about Kevin Bishop is when he reports in the racing post that AB ate his oats the night before.
He got within a lenght and a half of Kauto in a tingle creek, and its been a while since Kauto saw a horse in his rearview mirrors. Id love to see him make a comeback.

He was entered in various races from November onwards but never ran due to illness rather than the knee injury he had last season. His trainer has always stated that he wants to get a couple of runs into him before going to Cheltenham, so if he ends up going straight to the Festival I'd say that he probably won't be at his best.

Hopefully he gets back to the track for more races. His bold-jumping, front-running performances are a joy to watch.

Well that was quite a taking performance. Fingers crossed that he stays sound and gets to the Festival.

As I posted on the Saturday thread he was entitled win this race even if only 80% fit, he was 34 lb well in on his chase mark. Nevertheless he was massivly impressive and must be a live Queen Mother canditate.
