Hi Guys need some help please,

I'm setting up my first home netwrok. I have a netopia modem and a netgear router and would like some advise on how to set the modem as a bridge so I can connect it directly to the router and then use the router to connect all my devices

    Any help greatly appreciated!!

Make sure the wan port on your router is connected to the ethernet port of the netopia.

On the netopia, go to expert mode -> advanced -> ip passthrough - enable

Your router should then get the external Eircom ip address.
