    Hi,

I haven't planned any hols yet but was supposed to be going for a european short break and my friends cancelled as saving up for their big day later this year. I may find other friends to go, but i was thinking i would def go on my own rather than not go at all. Has anyone done this and how did they get on? Nothing booked yet. Might play it safer if on my own and go somewhere english is spoken and my french is just about passable too. Also interested in other places such as
    -Lisbon
    -Seville
    -Vilnius
    -Ljubljana
    -Bordeaux, etc.

Have travelled around Europe a good bit so sensible as regards safety etc and wouldn't be wandering around too much at night. Anyone got any advice on other nice safe places to go, or any advice at all on going away alone, eg: eating out alone (rude to read?)....etc??
    Thanks!

I did a trip to Paris on my own last year, it was great as I didn't have anyone else wanting to go to places I wasn't interested in seeing!

Safety...just be as sensible as normal really, even as part of a group I'd be somewhat cautious about certain places.
