If he seemed reluctant to call on the turn then it's hard to know what he will call with on the river. His holding looks like AT+ as an overpair would surely have bet at some point. I'd go with about 1200ish, but then again I am not good at judging times when big overbets can get interpreted as missed draws and get called.

Its always hard to know what the correct amount to value bet is. What i usually do when it comes to a value bet is bet a strange amount like 955. Strange i know but trust me i have found it to work as players love to know what u bet such a strange amount with and sometimes players come over the top bluffing. Otherwise 1200 is a good amount.

Id fold preflop, 300 is nearly 1/10 of the effective stack. Id bet at least 1500 on the river

I'd defo bet the flop, trying to get all in with an over pair.

As played I'd agree with above and bet 1,400+
