Hey guys,

I am planning on going to Hawaii in July with a few lads and we intend on staying here for that month doing everything that a group of lads would be doing I suppose such as bit of boozing, heading out and chilling on beaches during the day or whatever.

Anyway, my girlfriend is planning on coming over to me in August where myself and her would go island hopping around the islands for a month and then head to New York for a week before flying home. Basically just myself and her.

I am just wondering how does this sound? Have you been island hopping in Hawaii before? What is it like as a place in general? I have looked up the islands and they all look appealing and brilliant. How expensive is accomodation do you know and are there cheaper hotels on the islands for myself and my girlfriend? We are both in our early twenties...what do you guys think???

Alternatively, do you have any suggestions on other places to go to with my girlfriend? Reason I am thinking Hawaii is because I am going to be over there with the lads anyway in July and she will be in America for July and then for August, we are going to head off and do our own thing...and I suggested she comes to Hawaii and we will check out the islands before flying home via new york for a few days...
