i think we need a new chant thats easy to sing and catchy, that alles les blue stuff is ok, but id rather shout something with leinster in it, so i was watching the ashes there a whileago, has anyone seen the english crowd make all that noise when they sing that "barmy army" song and they clap and shout barmy army for like ten minutes, well we should just rob that and shout "Leinster Lions" instead of barmy army? anyone?

Suggest it on Leinsterfans.com and see what the diehards there think.

don't like the idea of the Barmy Army shout at all, I like the cleverness of the Allez les Bleues. I would like to see some decent singing as well at the matches but Molly Malone seemed to die a death in the 90s and I can't see us singing the Fields of Athenry either, even though it is a Galway song.

Dublin in the Rare Auld Times would be a much more apt song imho

Ring a ring a rosey... as the light came down

I know the guy you're talking about... himself and his mates stand in the same spot for every home game and he comes out with some great stuff. It's usually some sort of long-winded criticism of the opposition full back or hooker :)

He's not the guy who brings the blow-up sheep by any chance?

In fact a lot of the chants I've heard in Donnybrook seemed to involve sheep.

Would certainly say that Leinster fans have the best sense of humour than other supporters in Ireland.
