well what are you planning to get done
how good are your pain tolerances

and remember there is a limit as to what your body can take

Depends on your pain tolerances, personally i can't stand more then 3-4 hours on my back, But other places it isn't a bother to go longer. The price seems reasonable enough given that he's a top quailty artists, just for reference paul booth charges ~$400 dollars an hour so its not too pricey in the grand scheme of things.

i'm interested in jap style only i think im goin to go for a koi slieve ,was thinking bout golden koi on forearm and dragon on upper but i think two or three koi on black background and a few flowers might look a bit nicer ,but after looking at hennings tigers who knows ,i like colourfull pieces

Hennings tigers are really nice. You are right travelling to someone who specialises in the style you want. You will be sure you will get a top class tattoo. That price is reasonable enough sure look at what you would pay here for something that is not done by a specialist in the style you want.

Japanese tattoos have a story/meaning behind them and a lot of the images cannot be part of the same tattoo due to seasons etc. Henning will be able to advise you on what flowers, leaves, wind, waves etc can go with Koi's and Dragons. Or you can see from pics of other tattoos what parts go together.
