Looking at organising a POker night for a work night out, will be for about 100 people or so...do any of you guys know if any of the casinos cater for this kind of stuff...not a poker expert myself...basically we would want to rent the casino for a few hours to complete our tournament and use their chips etc....

That is a fairly large scale one. I know the Sporting Emporium on Anne's Lane cater for private parties and run private tournaments. If you contact them they can probably help you out, but it would be quite costly I reckon. Every now and then their poker room is closed to cater for private functions (which I think is bad form).

I don't think the Fitz cater for private functions of that size, but it depends what time of day, what day etc.

You could look to get a venue and then ask someone like Vegasnights to run the tournie, they could bring in the tables would be another option. But you might want/need dealers also.

The casino might be hard to swing unless you do it very early and by the time you are down to 1 or two table the casino could start their regular routine.

as far as I remember Nick from Vegas nights can do this for you, he can actually organise a casino night for you and its meant to be great value, give him a pm here or a pm on the vegas nights forum.
