This came up tonight. We are fairly sure of the answer, but we'd rather be completely sure. Which of the following full-houses wins?

    A) Three fives and two fours

    OR

    B) Three fours and two Queens.

We agreed on option A, but one guy thought otherwise. Sorry if this has been debated one million times before.

No debate necessary...a house is 3 of a kind plus a pair...the higher 3 of a kind always wins, the ranking of the pair is irrelevant

I suppose it was ineivitable that I'd get asked that question eventually! I only use this name online. In fact, when I started using it, I wasn't even aware of the skanger connotations.

Actually, as a native son of Killiney, I'm still convinced that skangers are an urban myth.

LOL, if you had witnessed what I saw today you'd change your mind.

I was having a breakfast in a cafe in North Strand, and two 20 year old girls came in wearing shiny silky pygamas with big coats and black high heels.
I almost choked on my sausage laughing at them. They weren't impressed.

    "Wha cha laffin ah chunfella?"

"I'm laughing at your ridiculous attire young lady"

Doctor said the swelling will soon go down.
