[EDIT] I've resized them down to 640x426 but the web versions aren't as clear as the originals on my computer. any ideas how to keep the quality up? unless i go with the 800x640 below but they are very big right??

Focus is a little off on the first three and the second one is a little shook. Flowers are great though. A new lens takes time to learn (I find anyway). Doing well so far.

I get the feeling you know how to take shots, but you're limited by your camera. :/

ive a d50 and im still getting use to it! i have ventured into the manual settings a little but its going to take time to learn too, and final year in college doesn't give me very much time or money so ill be using this for the next while anyway-argh! and yeah the second shot was a little rushed. i had just switched lens and was kneeling down to take a shot and this little squirrel came running over to me and jumped on top of me! i was like wtf and then he jumped off and i really quickly chenged lens to get him. bit of an experience really!

Nice shots, pretty well captured. I like the robin one only for the branch is kinda distracting on the right there, probably couldn't be helped at the time but its still good. Thanks for sharing. :)

Hey I prolly wasn't far from you today, was up at the botanics too ;) Well done for catching the wildlife - I don't even bother trying anymore because they all end up blurry - your wee robin is cracking, as said above the branch in front is a pain but even so I'd be damn happy with that picture if I'd taken it! Like the first squirrel because it's from ground level, although there could be a bit less of the surroundings and more of the squirrel - obviously you're limited by your lens though. Nice bunch of pictures! Just keep shooting, don't worry about the gear.
