Nominations - Best DVD in 2006

    What was the best DVD release of 2006? Maybe its packaging stood out or its exhaustive supply of extras? Maybe it had a superb commentary that took you right behind the movie making process? Nominate away.

    To be eligible, the DVD must have been released on Irish cinema screens during the year 2006 (or up to the final date of closing of nominations). Each voter can only nominate a maxiumum of two titles for this category only. Any further ones shall be ignored.

    Clerks 2 (three great commentaries, 40 minutes deleted scenes, 90 minute doc and more)

    Poor year for DVD's in my mind... only highlight being:

    Dazed And Confused: Criterion Collection (if just for the fantastic Linklater commentary alone)

    Not a great year for DVDs, but Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - enjoyable bit of fluff, plus some good extras (Making ofs, Reminiscence of FFVII featurette) makes for a good package.
