Hey, I'm kinda new to this but i need some help. I am subscribed to Imagine for my broadband a 3mb line but anything i do a speed test with any site eg irishsptest i don't seem to be downloading any faster than 1.6 or 1.8. Is this right? i don't want to pay for a 3m if i'm not getting it. :(

Hi,

there is probably a contention ratio on your service which means you are sharing the "line" with a number of other people. This means that you will only get the full 3mb if no-one else is using the service at the same time as you.
