Back to training after broken leg

Last year I was doing really well and put on a lot of mass and muscle over the previous year, but then broke my tibial plateau (the part of the tibia that joins to the knee for those that dont know) and ended up in hospital for a couple of weeks. I lost most of my wieght and muscle in the 3 months i was on crutches.

But now i want to get back into it.

The main reason for my sucess in bulking up was the amount of squats i did, but i just dont feel comfortable doing them anymore, as my leg that got broken is still a lot weaker than the other. ANd my range of motion in my bad knee is very poor at only 115 degrees, meaning I cant do a full squat anyway.

Can anyone offer any advice, suggestions or experiences? I am going to start of small on the squats and gradually build, but is it worth it if I cant ever do a full squat again?
