Wind Turbine System?

    Does any know of an affordable Wind Turbine System that feeds directly in to your house without the need for batterys. But with an input/output switch for when the ESB allow us to feed back into the grid.

    Musha,

    As far as I know you cannot feed into he grid. In the north you can. There is a crowd call windsae that do a system that you plug directly into a 3 pin socket. Basically suppose to slow down the meter.
    Not convinced that wind power has the required payback to make it economically feasible. Some say that it will pay back in 10-12 years and by then you need a new turbine!!

    You can connect to the Grid but you won't get paid for it (Yet)

    A grid tied system is possible now but you should be aware that if the grid goes down so too does your turbine. You cannot feed into grid, I assume this is to protect engineers working on lines.
