I dont know if this is the right place but I need some help replacing a rearview camera on a vehicle. The camera has just one cable connection of a type similar to s-video or minidin 4 connection. I've googled this type of connection and dont know if its possible for s-video to include a power source. So im confused about the connection type. The camera is installed on a large industrial machine which i bought from the UK. I've tried to get help from one company who install these devices but they are charging around 600 euro for the camera alone. I can definitely get a rearview camera for less than that BUT its the connection type im worried about. Any help or someone who can shed light on the connection type and where i might purchase a rearview camera with this type of connection would be fantastic. Again it looks like a s-video connection but includes a screw type cover which protects the s-video connection from the weather.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely the wrong place to ask, all I can suggest is that does the connector match up to any of the ones on this page and Google the make & model of the camera to see if you can locate any info on it and the connection type it uses.

S-video doesn't carry power from what I understand, I'm guessing this connector has a custom pinout because the camera has no power source so this special cable connection also feeds power to it ?
