Will Dirk Benedict win?

Was watching some the show tonight and Dirk Benedict seemed to be getting shown in a good light by the edit. He comes across well plays the game very cleverly, all the time acknowledging that is a game and there there is no place for all the blubbering melodrama of some of the other contesants

At present he is joint favourite with somone called Cleo Rocos to win the show outright so it certainly seems he has a chance! That'd be cool if a true legend actually won this show for a change. Past winners include Chantelle (a nobody), Bez (dancing idiot for the Happy Mondays) and Mark Owen (no idea who this is tbh).

So do you think Dirk will win?

I'm sick....I heard a while ago on the grapevine that Dirk would be in this year's CBB. I was going to go down to Paddy Power and throw a few squidder on him to win outright, before the show even started. I never got around to it....I may live to regret that....

Yeah, I think the odds were 7/1 of him winning when it started.

Thought he would be a bit of a retro sado -like Leo Sayer- riding the wave of nostalgia, just to get the votes. But the more I see of him, the more I like him.

He was doing a PA in a nightclub up the road from me a few months ago... but the place is so awful even 'Faceman' himself did not tempt me to go there. Kinda regret it now.

I'd love to see him win. Everyone loves the A-team so he's guaranteed a load of votes. I hope the three bitches are booted out fast. I wouldn't like to see Shilpa win either because it would be a sympathy vote.

Some people are saying that he's too introverted at times but to be honest the guy will be 62 years old in March so it's not surprising that he can't interact well with the Jades of this world (who can?).

I know that the assault course wasn't exactly tough but he tackled it extremely well, better than some who are less than half his age too

Also, he has a major horn for Shilpa and that's quite funny because he makes no bones about it...

One of my favourite moments from last nights show was in the middle of the big argument, they shoot to Dirk smoking his cigar nonchalantly in the garden. 5 star moment.

Cleo's teasing of Dirk today was disgraceful and I thought he handled it very well. I have a lot of respect for him. Jo and Danielle and Jack were the usual sheep and showed no sympathy.

I'd like Dirk to win. At least, he's one of a few I'd like to win in there - him, Shilpa or Jermaine. Or maybe Ian. Definitely not the others.

Dirk did seemed to be a bit touchy about the whole thing, but when he told cleo to stop, she should of left him alone, she's shown a real dark side

Dirk has been flirting a fair bit, but the girls when they were lying in bed were playing the same sort of game with dirk, making suggestive comments etc, when he mentioned porn, they were laughing, he then said he was joking and they went on to say ah yeah he has loads of porn or a porn room at home or something along those lines, they were teasing him about it, not telling him to stop, or complaining about being harassed.

Maybe all the bitching or bullying is about dirk flirting with shilpa and all the other girls are turning into bullies because they're jealous

Anyone else notice shilpa saying she'd nominate dirk jokingly, looks like some sort of punishment for shilpa

Had a slight feeling today that dirk might walk if he has more days like this

They never showed drunk danielle banging her head on the wall when jack pushed her onto one of the beds when they were going to bed, was pretty funny

I reckon Cleo FANCIES THE PANTS off Dirk, always has and is raging that he pays her no attention. That's why she nominated Shilpa in the first place. Don't like the way the harem of subwits are ridiculing him at the moment.

I think Dirk has a good chance of winning. If Shilpa wins it will be for the wrong reasons. I am from the UK and wouldn't even waste my credit voting when I was living there! But the english are strange beasts, just when you think you know them, they show you something new!

At least if Shilpa wins, maybe the race row issue might be quelled a little!

back on topic & im really thinking Dirk can do it, He's always gonna get nominated but I dont think hes gonna be voted out.

I'm not so sure. I think we can safely say that Jo's out and Shilpa's safe. But of the other three I don't think it's at all clear who'll be the second person out. I'd like for it to be Cleo alright, but it's hard to say.
