    Hi Guys,

Having problems with my next Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router Model No WRT54G.

I setup the router with WPA2 and everything is fine however when I power down the router and connect again I cannot establish broadband connectivity. I can connect to the router but can't get on the net.

    My Setup is as Follows

NTL BB - Cable Modem - Router ~ Laptop

Do I need to keep the wireless router powered on all the time, the router name wep etc remain the same thats whats confusing me.

    Thanks
    JJJ

You can/should leave router on. No need to switch it off. Prehaps switching off the router releases the ip address assigned to it by modem and it takes a while for it to be reassigned another by modem. Have you tried switching off modem and turning it back on and see if connection returns?
