    Hi
im just curious , how do the fixtures work ?

I see its a small league so i presume its more then each team playing each other
    twice ?
is it 2 home games and 2 away games ??

    or what ?

Each team plays each other three times.

Once at home, and twice away.

    Or.

Twice at home, and once away.

Depending on if you are from Dublin or not, the Dublin teams get more home games than the regional teams. Or so they'd have you believe.

    Not really. You'll play 16/17 Home/Away Away/Home.

It works as well as it can, and no-one seems to complain.

I hope we (Shels) get two away fixtures against Galway this coming season, as I like that city, I'd prefer one away in Cork and Derry for travel reasons, and bleedin' Longford aswell, if my last trip there was anything to go by. Freezing cold, raining.

But meh, once Shels are actually playing games next season, I'll be happy.

How does that work again? Or are you just trying to wind up Cork people? :p

A little but it swaps every second year. UCD had Shels home twice last year so we have them away twice this year. The promoted teams take the place of the relegated teams in the system.
