VAT & Duty on importing from US

Hi, The company I work for recently bought stock from the US, for which we were charged VAT & Duty on. Can I claim the VAT back on this and if so, how do I go about it? The VAT element on the invoice is included in the Nett Total rather than the VAT total, therefore it's not entered as a VAT amount on our accounts system.…

Hi,
The company I work for recently bought stock from the US, for which we were charged VAT & Duty on.
