    Hi guys,

I am thinking of heading over to this meeting. Have an ongoing interest, though not a monetary one in a horse thats travelling over. Anyway, what I was wondering was more to do with getting there and if anyone has any experience of that trip. Am thinking of flying Dublin to Manchester in the one day or is this insanity. I see from google earth that its only 22miles or so from Manchester to Haydock, so thats pretty near enough really. Anyone with any thoughts would be doing me a good turn thanks

    Mike

stay the night especially if u get a winner or two -get a hotel for half nothing over there now-nothing worst than going racing having a good day and then a long trek home-better to do it next morning in a daze with a hangover-

Fly into Liverpool, much easier to get to from Liverpool Airport, much nicer city to enjoy a few drinks in too.

hard to disagree with the first reply, the thoughts of doing it all in the one day are a bit of a balls really. Not sure how heavy the booze might go though owing to the fact that I will have to drive back down from the abyss that is known as Dublin airport the following morning!
