Ok, so you've been paying off your mortgage every month for the past few years... you now want to use your SSIA to finally pay off the last remaining amount...

Do you simply make the last payment, and then get your deeds or is there more to it then that? Do you need a solicitor, or is there anything legal that needs to be done? Is it going to cost me money!!?

    Thanks,
    Domer

You'll have to ring the mortgage company and get a redemption figure, then send em in a cheque, once the mortgage is cleared they should send the deeds out.
