Help, I'm desperate!

Ok, I'm getting married in June and really want to surprise my husband-to-be with an American Classic Car as our wedding car.

He would love a Mustang but unfortunately I think we would be a bit pushed for space in the back with my wedding dress. Most people I have spoken to have suggested a Cadillac instead.

I have spoken to a few enthusiasts but none of them are keen to do a wedding. I also had one quote for a Cadillac, for 600 euro, which is steep considering all other car quotes have been around the 350 / 400 mark.

Does anyone have a contact that I could try, or indeed is anyone keen to do it?

The wedding is in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, and the reception is near Aughrim.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You could contact Brendan Brady, he runs a tyre outfit down near Arklow AFAIK and he is involved with the American car clubs. He has a 56 Caddy himself. sorry i dont have contact info but I'm sure if you search you could find him. If not let me know and I'll dig something up !

    One question though...............

..........are you sure you wanna go through with it ??? :D

Thanks a million. Yes, i am sure I want to go through with it!!

Have been talking to Brendan Brady, well, almost stalking the poor guy. He can't do it cos it's on a Saturday, but he came up with the name Peter Jenkinson, who I can't seem to find anywhere....?!! Apparently he does weddings and has 4 Cadillacs?

hi hc, this is kinda spooky - i got married in June (03), greystones church and then to the Glenview hotel. I made contact with some guys in Arklow thru the
http://american-automobile-association-irl.com and we used a 72 convertible Cadillac. It was white with white leather interior. Think the guy who drove it was called Mervin or Marvin, nice fella, he was suited & booted, even wore a chaffeurs cap. They also had a red with white interior which wasnt available that day. Car runs about 10mpg, so i guess you'll be paying for the gas from Arklow to the church etc. I think it cost us about 250 punts, expensive maybe, but what the hey..
