Just call flop. River is a fold without reads. Pretty crazy call imo.

why would you minraise the flop?
when you do minraise the flop,why bet the turn?
the river is a clear fold too,but if you hadn't swelled the pot on the other streets you might have been able to call

min raise isnt always a bad thing imo. i rarely do min raise in cash games but on the bb i wanted to see if he would re raise me, then i would have to reconsider my play, probably folding..
why would i NOT bet the turn?. its a draw heavy board with FD and SD...

why is the river a clear fold, i didnt like his overbet.

u have a marginal hand. and everybody has already called your flop bet so nobody will go away with your turn bet.
You had 2 callers on the flop. If there was only 1 then your turn bet wouldnt have been so bad (although I still dont like it) .
The range of hands which beat your marginal holdings are high.

un raised pot pf i still think i am ahead, marginal hand or not. Why is everyone so scared of the river?... none of the draws hit.

There was a thread today about pot control - this is a classic example of when pot control is impreative IMO. You are OOP with TP weak Kicker. Don't Min raise!! As soon as you see that flop either hit it hard or go into cheap showdown mode.

You say you are putting him on a missed draw, what missed draw? It is a rainbow flop with a possible straight draw, once your min-raise is called, given that you have no reads you cant just decide that he is on a draw!

Although i'd be suspicious of the overbet also

2 clubs changes things - but only makes your min raise even worse. Would you expect a flush draw to fold to a min-raise? Once your turn bet on the river is called by both players you shut down. It is possible that they were both on draws and are crap - but you dont know if that is the case. I think calling the min raise is -ev, betting the turn after your min raise has been called by both players is -ev and calling the river push is -ev.

In answer to you specific question - yes I would probably check it down and make as little as possible.

ok so it was played bad on each street, but i went with my gut feeling and took down the pot, that aside thanks for info. lp was on a10o fishing for k.
