Think I'll duck off home early for the Argie game.

It's great that the games are on in the evening, giving everyone a chance to watch it (fans and non-fans alike)

The Argie game is on a Sunday 4pm. All the other Irish games are on late in the evening :D

Is that local time or French time as I am going to the France game so that would make it 10pm over there and we will be well locked by then.

It's great that we don't have to take time off for any of the games, so 2 games at 8pm, 1 at 7pm and the Pumas at 4pm on a Sunday, great stuff.

I'm just glad I won't be watching from New Zealand, most of their big games will be on at 3am so we can certainly count ourselves lucky with the schedule.

If you go on to the usit website you should pick up plenty of places to stay, as has already been said it doesn't really matter where you stay in Paris, but your best bet is probably in the 5th or the 6th which is pretty central os you do some nice touristy things as well and as for getting to the match, the RER B goes directly to the Stade de France and the Parc des Princes is on line 9, you get off at Porte de St-Cloud.

Anywhere in central Paris is fine as the public transport system is great (although it gets a bit manic immediately after the match). Addresses ending in 75005 and 75006 are near to lots of things - and don't go for the modern, businessy type hotels, a two or three star hotel will do fine: they might not speak a lot of English, but you won't be ripped off. try this link for readers tips from the Guardian about hotels in Paris
