Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
First off would like to confirm that I'm NOT looking for medical advice.

I'm trying to find a gynacologist in the Longford, Mullingar or Roscommon area and was wondering if anyone can recommend one.
    Thank you.

I don't live in the area so can't help in that way but why don't you get your GP to recommend one to you? Or you could try the closest Well Woman clinic to you, they would usually be able to help out with most things and if you need to be seen by someone else they'd be able to help you. You could also call up your closest hospital and ask them for a list of gynecologists working there.

Ring your local health board or your local health nurse at the clinic and ask for a list of Gynacologists in your area.

Hi, The contact details for the midlands health board (if my geography is ok covers Mullingar & Roscommon) is
    http://62.73.160.95/mhb/AboutUs/

Just in case you are new to gynaecological services in Ireland, your GP (or practice nurse) would routinely do things like smear tests and pill prescriptions and most people would only see a gynae on a referral is something unusual turned up. I only say this because when I lived abroad I used to make my own appointments with a gynae every year for a routine check-up. I understand this information probably isn't relevant to you but thought I'd put if up here in case anyone else looks it up.
