Sure it's just an idea at the moment. If it's anything like the iCinema, we won't see anything of it for a while.

I saw it, and at first was amazed, but the pricing seems prohibitive. I'd say I'd buy it without a thought if it was, say 500 euro for 20 gigs. The big screen really supports movies in a way that iPods haven't before, but $600 for an 8 gig model is too much. Especially when you consider we'll probably be paying more. I don't think it's worth buying an mp3 player with less than 20 gigs storage in any case, though, especially if it supports video.
The phone and internet functionality are really cool, though.

Top of the range phones often hit €500 anyway so I wouldn't expect the price to be anything less tbh.

pity though as it's more than likely going to have the same file restrictions as an ipod.

    no flac, no ogg
spend hours converting dvd's to play on it, by that time the battery has ran out.

it's a great idea to implement the three devices in one, but it's a long long way from replacing my iriver and sony ericsson k800i.

no 3G either, for 600 buck I'd feel pretty stung. Also cisco own the trademark on the iPhone name so ol' stevey boy is gonna have to start his steamroller or pay up.

Sums it up for me. 8 gigs is just not enough, and I wouldn't shell out bigs bucks for this if it isn't going to replace my phone and my mp3 player.
