Anyone know where I'd get a decent leather computer chair? Nothing too expensive, but nothing cheap!

    Thanks

Viking normally have half decent ones on offer every couple of months - usually around €50 - €60

Thats the place alright Ciaran and it looks as if there is one on offer.

Just watch out for the free delivery - min. spend of €60 excl. VAT and its free otherwise you pay delivery. I have one of their chairs and its fairly good

PS prices shown on their site dont include VAT

Viking Direct are pretty good alright, maybe Argos have something. Maybe adverts.ie if you aren't too fussy.

@muffler - seems to be a cream colour ... I'll wait for an offer on a black one.

    ciaranfo,
I recently bought the AD1-978405. Very pleased with it . Great value for what you get - saw something similar in PC world at twice the price.

you could try these guys http://www.plan-itinteriors.com/index.php
Delivery BTW to Ireland is an additional £25. I just replaced by leather computer chair with this one http://www.plan-itinteriors.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_45&products_id=456
which I find to be much more comfortable...as I work from home and can be sitting for most of the day.

ask viking to send you out a catalog.

The first one they send out will have a Yd1 prefix on all the products, if not the first order you make.

They'll be about 40% cheaper than the standard gd1, ad1 prices.

I used to work there many moons ago, make sure you get a free gift too :D

You can avoid the free delivery minimum by registering as a new user every time you want to place an order.

You knew exactly what i meant, the min spend for free delivery is €75 not the €60 you said

Would there be a particular reason you are replying to my posts with "WTF", picking up on a missing word and the like?

No I didnt know what you meant especially when you post dribble like though so no biggie

I ordered from them in early December and the min. spend to qualify for free delivery was €60 then so I was unaware of the increase in the min. spend.

Now then elshambo you seem to be accusing me of being a troll and if you want to persist with childish accusations like that you will be banned from this forum too.

I'm not sure exactly... they don't promote it online or in their catalogues or anything, but the last 3-4 orders I placed (all as new customers) had free delivery. They were all around the €10 to €30 mark, so they definetly didn't meet the normal free delivery minimum.

It does say when you're going through the online checkout that you will be charged, but when the invoice arrives (and when I check my credit card) the totals are without delivery and it says "FREE" in the delivery section of the invoice.

I got my keyboard and mouse today (as well as the absolutely useless credit card things - see this thread) and it came to about €12 IIRC.
