Gort na Coirbe looks alot nicer but Corrib Village looks like a prison but has the what the f**k just happened appeal to it...I guess kinda like a prison, but before you even decide you should look at the prices!, its crazy, more than a poor student can afford...P.S I didn't live in either, I just invite myself to strangers apartments after a night out and drink some of their booze...Fools!

I'd definatly promote Corrib, to anyone going into first year (only first year, mind you)

It's a 5-10 minute walk to the college, deppending on how hung over you are, it has it's own wee shop, decent security (which can sometimes be an annoyance though, if you want to have your mates over after a night out), wireless internet, and it's a great place to meet people!
It's layed out in a -4/5 rooms within an appartment, within a house of 4 appartments, within a block of houses, so you're bound to get chatting/partying with your neighbours.

It's a tad more expensive than some other places, but it's worth it for the short walk to college in the morning, savour the extra 10 mins in bed ;)

Corrib for the fun, not for the accom. Other places for accome, not for fun...
If you go to Corrib, just for first year, then town is best.

Live under the bridge with the rest of the non-grant-receiving students.
