This software is great. Only ever had a problem converting swf to something else. I have never got the converting and saving streams but it has the ability to do it. It is the best convertor I have used out of a good few. The only annoying thing is it doesn't give you a propper progress bar or report during converting

It does work basically it is a whole lot of open source video encoding products taped together into one "super" program.

I tried it a good while ago and it did do something which made me think twice as it tried to connect to the net without asking me as my firewall intercepted it. After looking over the program and finding no check for updates feature I decided to uninstall it.

If you are looking for a free and easy'ish encoder for XviD/H.264 try AutoMKV or Ani-x264.

Good converter, esp for files you can't find a converter for. Great for converting large movies into PSP size video's.

Good versitile converter, would like if it had an option to split the output file
iriverter is handy for avi conversion with file splitting, and dvd to avi conversion

It is a handy piece of software. Useful for converting FLVs to more flexible formats.
