Now that the Christmas rush is over and people are probably (hopefully) returning unwanted wii games there's bound to be a few second hand ones knocking about.... anyone seen any?

Looking to pick up a copy of Red Steel cheap....

I dont think you will be seeing any in the shops for a few months

from what ive heard when people return them they just hold them in the stock room for a while (when its a new console)
anyway theres gonna be barely any difference in price

if your looking for second hand games ebay is your best hope

Game on Dawson Street in Dublin has a second hand Red Steel for €55. Cheapest you're going to get them is online, about €51 from Play, whome I trust implicitly.

Red Steel Kicks Ass. Best off picking it up online if it's being sold second hand for €55.

Hey guys, check out www.wii.ie for a game price tracker. It looks like http://www.blahdvd.com is the cheapest place so far.

I think I got 35 from Smyths for Red Steel. Considering I got it as a present and came out with a HD DVD drive, I was happy :)

Did you need to show ID for Smythes? To sell a second hand game in Game you need a drivers licence, they mumbled something about the Gards making them do it,..

    Anyone know why?

I'm probably going to trade in Super Monkey Ball for WarioWare on Friday, probably in Game, Henry Street. I'll be interested to see how much they give me for it.

They were 55 each though

    Guys,
Maybe this has been said b4 but why don't we setup a swap game section here or in adverts.ie where we can swap our used games? That way RIP off merchants like GAME are out of the loop.

    What do ye think?

Good idea madmoe... I might set up a site to do just that, and have it just for us boardsies...

    @DamoElDiablo,
I think that is a great idea, I will help you if you need any assistance with it.

Also, it might be a good place to also share or sell game cube games, controllers etc. I missed out on the GC and it seems there are a lot of good games out for it too. I'm very interested in getting my hands on some of the ones mentioned here. Unfortunately they seem to be nearly impossible to get in the shops. GAME and all those seem to just have the crappy titles and again at ridiculous prices.

I think it may be worth starting another one just for Wii and GC games and having it in this forum?

    What do ye think?

Sounds good. Try and get it stickied so we don't have to search all the time (this forum is pretty busy at the mo)

    Hey mods,
Can you create a sticky in here for the puropse of swapping\selling Nintendo Wii and GC games and\or peripherals?

    Cheers,
