Does anyone have any experience about what its like to work for aldi or a similar company? I'm finishing my degree this year and it seems too good to be true that graduates can be so well paid within a year or two. No other company seems to come close to this.
I would be interested in hearing opinions about what its like. I'm very undecided about what I want to do next year and I'm trying to keep all options open for now.

If you do a search there was a thread on this. IIRC they work you very hard and you have to put in a lot of hours, its also very stressful. Cant remeber what else was said.

Am an Aldi employee myself... though just as a part-time store assistant.
To be honest its probably the worst place I ever worked (but its ok as a quick money earner while I'm finishing out my degree).

The money is good they pay well, but do expect long hours.

You say your looking at a career in Aldi after your degree, so i'm guessing that you are looking at a higher position such as Area Manager or something like that.

if I recall the salary is very good ok, and you are given a company car. My area manager is dring an Audi, and he's also only about 25 or 26 years old.
the hours are long, and the job is very pressurised, but if that's what you want then go for it.
