    Should I have tried for a narrower dof here?

    Nice pics, like the middle one alot in your last post..

    As for a narrower dof in the berries one, it's down to personal tastes really, but I reckon it's prolly be a good idea. That way there's less havoc going on in the background. Maybe try getting more of a close upof the berries next time, if that's what you're after. The main problem with this pic is that there's nothing that catches your eye straight away, they kinda wander around and end up seeing the berries. Maybe try a closer shot, shallower dof and place along the thirds of the frame.

    I like the middle shot but not the post processing, I think it's too bright and the colours bleached out, I prefer it with richer colours and deeper blacks:

    I can see what you mean, that is better. I thought the area of rock behind the water was too dark and I was trying to brighten it, but I must have taken my eye off the rest. The reds and greens really stand out now. Can I ask what adjustments you applied?

    Small saturation boost, feathered levels adjustment to darken the darks around the edges and then a final curve tweak
