Just thought I'd own up before someone spots it on carzone...

The Spider is up for sale. :(
Priced not to sell at the moment, as I'm still on the hunt for another classic (too used to cheap road tax thank you). Made the decision a few months back - lifestyle choices require something a little more practical unfortunately...

Here's hoping someone's SSIA is burning a hole in their bank account... ;)

ps Mods - this is less of an advertisment than a confession!

Priced 'not' to sell:eek: I admittedly know nothing of the prices of spider's but that seems very cheap judging by the pics. It looks in fabulous condition.

    Thanks - but it's not. ;)
I took those pics on Saturday and they are very flattering. It is reliable, and I love it, but it has issues. It's also up on eBay Ireland now with loads of supersize pics, so there should be no surprises for any potential buyer.

Just got a call from some "auto finder" type company offering to set me up with potential buyers (at full asking price) they had already located in my area.

I knew it was a scam from the outset, but the woman wasted five minutes of my life before she got to the bit where I had to pay a one-off fee of €89 to get in touch with the buyers.

Sounded like a UK setup - she had an English accent and call was probably from overseas. She didn't waste any time getting off the line when I told her where to put her registration fee. ;)

would you sell it for the price its currently at on ebay ?
i have been looking for spitfires for a while and found some good cars but your spider would be nicer to own as dad had 124 when he was younger.
forget the first line, what would secure a deal on the 124 ? you can tell me to bugger off if you like or send me a pm with some info. you were right about the ssia, but i was only putting the min in so mega funds are not on therer way to me.
