Apologies for the cheesy title but its about time there was a thread started where people could post their drum setups and talk about drums in this forum that seems to be overrun by the string playing community, ie guitarists and bassists.
So to kick things off, im gonna post my current setup. Feel free to add any comments, your own setups or what you wanna buy in the coming year.

Currently using a sonor force 503 kit with sabian xs20 cymbals.
14" steel snare, 12" rack tom, 16"floor tom and 22" bass drum.
Evans power centre and hazy 300 on the snare, ec2's and g1's on the toms and an eq3 on the bass.
    14" hats, 16" and 18" crashes and a 20" ride.

I have added a pic for yas to have a gander.

Hope to get my hands on a nice 18" wuhan china and some sort of 10" splash in the coming weeks (open to suggestions).

There used to be plenty of drum threads here but once drummingireland came online and the drummers had an excuse not to hang around with musicians the posts mysteriously dried up ;):p

I play a Pearl Masters studio (BRX) 10" 12" 14" 22" (I can't remember the depths) made of birch plywood.

I have a 6.5x14" Maple Free Floating snare drum.

And the cymbals are a set of 13" AAX Fusion Hi-Hats, a 16" AAX Stage Crash, a 17" AAXplosion, a 17" AAX Dark Crash, a 16" AAX Chinese Cymbal, a 10" AA splash, and a 20" AA Ride. Can't actually remember which type of ride. It was the heaviest one I could find. :D I like a ride with a bit of momentum.

I don't really have any pictures and it's dismantled at the moment but here it is in action:

Ah the eternal ride type debate.
I like mine dry, with good sticking response.

I'm quite partial to a bit of a raw ride as well. But maybe only in the middle. You still want to be able to get a bit of a swell when you're hitting it hard.

    Of course.
A raw bell is what it's all about...
