case buttons

I was putting together a pc the other night and had finished it all off. I went to turn it on for the first time and a "click" noise came from it. I didn't know what it was so I press the power button again and noticed that the power button had lost its spring back. I took the front off the case and tried to sort it out, but the power button just seems to be dead. For the time being I have just hooked up the restart button as the power button. It was an old case and its sometimes annoying not having a restart button. I was just wondering if you can buy panels to fit in a cd drive bay that have power and restart buttons on them that you can just hook up to the mother board as you would case buttons.

    Cheers

Would be easy enough to do yourself. Maplin have a great selection of 'push-to-make' switches in various sizes and styles. I did it on one of my projects and even with my very limited skills it wasn't too bad a job.

I used a couple of THESE and they worked great :)
If you want something smaller without illumination then THESE I used also to good effect.
