Electronic Photo Frames

Sorry to drag this up again (I saw a thtread on it before Christmas but I couldn't find it now). I got one of these as a pressie from work, along with a 256MB SD card. Nice, you might think, but it's got a dirty big company logo on it, so it's not going anywhere in my house!!
Anyway, I copied a few photos onto the card and was disappointed and how badly it dealt with different aspect ratios - it stretches the photos to fit the frame and generally looks crap.
I got sent a small app (7k) that will take a folder full of photos and resize and crop them to fit the photo frame exactly - ends up fitting about 400 pix on the 265 MB card - all correctly resized and correct aspect ratio.

If anyone wants a copy of the app, drop me a PM and I'll send it on...

One of windows' "powertoys" is an application called picture resizer - just right click on picture(s) and resize! Very convenient when you don't want to break out photoshop for such a small task.

What brand is the frame? What do you think of the quality? I have only seen the Philips ones in real life and wasnt very impressed.
