where to play

I might be interested in trying airsoft sometime but i dont know where you can for a game.So i'm just wondering where to go for a game and are these places open to the public.Thanks.

There's no sites to play in the Republic of Ireland -- although there's 1 or 2 in the process of being developed for airsoft.

You'll have to go up the North to play a game unfortunately We're actually organising a trip up there for February, if you're interested. Have a read here:

I'm not sure if they rent out weapons for games, but I'm sure one of the lads on the forum will be able to tell you that.

They do indeed rent!

Nice little selection too. I think its about £20-£30. They also rent clothes. Although by looking at the state of some of it, I'd recommend you get your own.

Oh, and bring some decent boots!

thanks for all the information but at the moment my weekends are kind of full.But if there was a game on later in the year maybe in the summer I would be delighted to try it.Just wondering is there an age limit as im only 16?Thanks.

there are games on nearly every weekend and during the week too sometimes.

And as for your age, you'll be fine.

I had to relax with my gun purchasing. Was buying too many guns and forgetting about gear. All i need now is a decent pair of gloves and some kind of hat...I havent a clue what hat though.

No, anything with the word "public" fixed before it should be avoided like the plague. :eek:

i had...... i'll just say "enough"........money before x-mas and now ive about a tenner till i get paid on thursday. i need a hat too, i cant believe i didnt get a hat to match the marpats i ordered. and i'm still on the hunt for a good tac vest but might have a nice secret supplier of em. a friend of a friend an that.
I also have a friend whos friend works in that army bargins place so i'll be having a look/word about stuff in there.

Ah I love Army Bargins. Just got a pair of Grafters boots and DPM trousers in there. Was gonna get a nice matching hat but ran out of money.

They have so much gear. It's like a toy store for adults. Well, adults interested in airsoft and such

Yeah I wouldnt buy a new jacket in there. I wouldnt buy a new jacket full stop. Expensive item of clothing. Second hand all the way. Ebay would be your best bet for that.

The boots were only €80. Made really well. thought I was after getting quite a bargain. Although, they're lacerating my feet to bits. Damn break in period!

The combats had gone up a fiver since I was last in there. ah well :rolleyes:

boots is the thing im looking for. cleaning my work boots after predator is so annoying when im in work the next day. plus i dont wanna have to wait untill i go to new york in december to get a pair of magnums.

It is very annoying alright. Well these ones I got have ten holes, so I should be able to tuck my boots nice and high. Keep my trouser nice and mud free. That was also very annoying It's mad, you really do have to play a game before you can work out your kit.

I am doing that too, have a couple of USMC patches to go with the camo NOIP has for me. and im looking into the vest situation. will let you know if im getting them cheaper then online.
Im also picking up an M4A1 for sum1 this weekend thats why im thinking of going to play seeing as i'll be up that way anyway.

Hey Oisin, If you live near the sea go for walk in your bare feet at the waters edge. I know its cold but the salt water really works. I started in a place a couplee of years ago and had to wear steel cap boots. Made **** of my feet but after a couple of walks on the beach, they were as good as new. I seen guys who started the same time as me go on for about 2 weeks limping around the place. Wouldnt listen to me.

Jesus they cut up my feet so bad I was limping around all day. Had to wear my old boots. Must get them broken in before Predator damn it!
