Whats the question? Raise more preflop and then grimace and call the flop. Other guy is more likely to have JQ KK or QQ than a set.

sorry call or fold? (im leaning toward folding in this case.)

also preflop whether to reraise more?

villian is a solid enough player with no idea how to value bet has gone all in many times with near / nuts and been paid off by SFA.

Preflop you should make it at €100 to go. His minraise is absolutely awful, but you mentioned that in your first post.

I would call on the flop unless I knew that that specific player was in a habit of pushing/leading like that with monsters, which you seem to be suggesting in your 2nd post. Its a difficult fold though because his play is entirely consistant with how many players play KK or QQ.

    More preflop, call flop

Where can you play 5/5 Live in ireland?

    Crane Club in mullingar.

Just play sensible and get paid off.

Most players are there for the owld gambool.

ie. same night, tight enlightened player down from €350, goes AI in the CO with QQ after live straddle to 10 had 3 callers (€50 pot PF). UTG(who straddled) and 3 callers called €100 which was 40% 33% 33% and 25% of respective stacks with the cards that are K10o, Q9d, A10 and A9. K10 hit trips. Actually was my mate again having great luck eh

The minraise preflop is pathetic. I lean towards calling on the flop. I might offer him a pony to look at one of his cards though.

The minraise is especially awful when you consider the 2nd story that you tell about moving in with QQ, and getting called in 3 spots for 350 each !!! (or maybe it was 100 each, I cant tell ... try to be a bit more coherent in your posts.

sorry about the lack of clarity.

it was €100 each with QQ.

yep, in the end the villain had 1010 for top set. no improvement on the turn or river.

actually the next hand my mate busted out.

raised PF €20 w/ AK same villain calls w/ K8

    flop K Q 7.

then my mate goes AI for 60 quid.

Villain calls and hits the 8 on the river.

    Agreat night so :(
