Not sure if this is the right forum to post in, mods feel free to move to somewhere more appropriate!

Just back from holiday of a lifetime in africa for xmas. However we got a wee bit sunburnt in parts which is starting to itch.

Aside from aftersun, anyone got any advice on remedies for the itch?

    Thanks!

You could try some antihistamines, ask your pharmacist.

I'd also recommend some aloe-vera based aftersun lotion.
Keep it in the fridge, cover yourself in it and let it soak in
before getting dressed. It saved me in Latin America!

Boots have a good selection all year round. They also have
an aftersun with camomile which acts as a natural antihistamine.

Any aftersun with Aloe Vera will do the trick as Gran Hermano says. Try get a gel rather than a cream, but do keep it in the fridge.
