    Anyone see this

I went to storm cinema tonight with the idea that I was going to see Apocalypto but it was sold out
Luckily I noticed this was up on the board and I remembered how much I enjoyed the 1st one

Yer man from two guys and a girl (johnny) was the main character.I really enjoyed it even though it had a lot of those cheap moments trying to scare people. Definetly as good as the orignal

    what did everyone else think?

Is it different in tone or plot to the first or is it very much a rehash?

I'm planning on seeing it because the lead is Firefly's Nathan Fillion (the guy from "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place" as you put it). It also has BSG's Katee "Starbuck" Sackhoff, who I've never seen in anything else.

I would never have considered seeing it after the the first one was but when I realised Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff were in it, it actually flew to the top of my 'must see' list.

Cool, Nathan Fillion's in it. Now I might go see it. Didn't see the first one but I don't feel I missed out on much.

I do like the way they did the trailer though. It reminds me of the 70's/early 80's trailers. The whole "In (this year) we brought you (The idea of this)" That was cool.

Similar story to myself with the exception of how much you enjoyed the first one. I actually went to book a ticket online last night after all shows for Apocalypto were sold out. I even checked for some online review to see if it was worth going to but could find nothing.

As for the film, it has to be one of the worst films I have seen in a while. I dont mind the main actor but he was terribly suited for this role. The film had potential and with better direction and less visuals it could have been good. The last 20 mins nearly had me laughing out loud it was so bad. Its a pity because the premise was good and it deviated completely from the first one just dealing with some of the same concepts.

The problem with this is, if they make a third one it might be worth watching to see if they can actually put a decent film together because the concepts are good for making a modern "scary" movie as long as they are not hollywoodised...something this film has buckets of with a few cheesy lines thrown in for good measure

I was a bit disappointed by the ending. There could have a been a few more scares in it throughout.
Never seen the first one so I didn't totally get it until about half way through but it explained it nicely

It felt to me as if they were just trying really hard to scare you at points
the usual old witchy woman jumping up on screen
something a bit more orignal would of been appreciated there

I also wasnt a huge fan of the end but did enjoy the film overall

I went to see this muck the other nite, on my own cos i kinda liked parts of the first one and i think fillion has potential. I knew nothing about it before seeing it but what a disappointment. the most memorable scene though is the scene with the baseball bat...

i do have 1 question for those of you who saw it. the very very ending scene, i didnt quite catch it so im not sure who that was? can anyone enlighten me please?
