You can get direct flights SAS to Stockholm. I was there few weeks ago with work, going again at the end of the month. Its cold all the time tbh but great craic.

You can get direct Ryanair flights from Shannon. I've been there twice during the Winter, its a fantastic place. Supposed to be even better during the summer.

Why don't you just go in the summer? 20-30 Celsius Skimpy skirts everywhere.

In sweden the government have a monopoly over off licence sales (not sure about clubs). The prices are even worse than here. I think the beer they sell is of a lower percentage aswell. The government over there generally don't want you having a good time.

Because of this, Swedish people actually have to put proper effort into their appearance if they want to get laid :D.

I was at a festival in Denmark over the summer and most of the people there were Swedish and Danish (obviously). Them people are like some kinda of supermodel race. They are all perfect looking. The communal showers were shit, felt like a right horrible looking person. Then on the last day my boyfriend broke up with me. Figures :(

have been to both, for the laugh give me Newcastle anyday. Its just a much more fun place, albeit feckin mental.

The Swedes are like a supermodel race for sure, but the Geordies are easier :-)
