Hey anybody know about this gym just opening up where Anthony's Muay Thai Gym used to be on Douglas St. before Xmas? A friend was passing and saw a sign...
Was just wondering if anybody knew about class times? price etc. or does it have a website?

Also anybody know where Anthony's Gym moved too.. iis it across form The Metropol on McCurtain St...? And has it started up again at same times?

    Thanks

Mate of mine is doing it with his kid. Apparently the class is mainly hot girls. I'm volunteering to investigate this Martial Art for boards.ie, purely for educational reasons

Anthonys gym is opening on Monday the 8th.

Yes its on McCurtin street, the entrance is the 'arch' directly across the street from the scout shop.

for the moment class times the same.

for further info check the forum on

Just back from Anthonys new place, popped in for a look.

Large matted area, 2 rings, loads of bags and weights upstairs, still the same old posters :D

It's easy to find, just opposite the scout shop, in through the big red doors, the lads are throwing up a sign soon. So you cant miss it...

The place really does look well....

Thai boxing classes start Monday and BJJ classes start Saturday

As for the capoeira, i dont know times and prices, but the lads said the guy that's running it, has done up Douglas Street, so the place looks a little less rough now

What are the class times for anthony's Muai Thai gym?

I'm only down in Cork at the weekends and would be a beginner in this martial art.

For the Capoeira classes, the only thing thats on the weekends is the kids class. But the 'workshop' is on a Sunday.. what is that??

Check out www.irishthaiboxing.com/forum for Thai Boxing training times!

For the Muay Thai at weekends there are mixed classes Friday 7 - 9pm and saturday from 12pm...

That capoeira workshop is basically an introduction to the MA, i checked out the website and next sunday is the official opening date so they're having workshops from 11am to show people what it's all about... might check that out!

    Thanks Flynn!

I'll check out the Maui at 7 tonight, hope its on, I tried to confirm the times but in the forum all I found was "same time as old douglas place"

They say its a full time gym.. does that mean 24/7? That would be pretty good
