    MOVIN' OUT:

    Arizona Cardinals Dennis Green
    Atlanta Falcons Jim Mora
    Miami Dolphins Nick Saban
    Oakland Raiders Art Shell
    Pittsburgh Steelers Bill Cowher

These are the first ones. I'm surprised to see Mora go. A little sad to see Cowher go. Who else will go? Which spot would you like to coach in, assuming you have the qualifications? For me, it has to be the Steelers. The owners will carefully pick a replacement, and then give him plenty of time to get the job done. I can't think of a worse job than the Raiders, except maybe the Lions.

    delighted. :D

If we didnt have a crazy owner, we'd be a great team.

So Ken Whisenhunt takes over in Arizona. Will he have any success?

And another college coach gets a shot in Atlanta. Will they never learn?

I think it's very possible that after lastnights loss, Schottenheimer is on his way out.

I'd be amazed if hes still there next year. If i was a chargers fan i want him gone. Still havent heard about who the Raiders are gonna get.

It won't matter; they still have Al Davis.

Well the Steelers have hired Mike Tomlin, the Vikings' DefCo, as their new HC. I'm surprised; I thought they'd stay in house and hire either Whisenhunt-gone to the Cards-or Grimm.

Also, the Dolphins have hired the Chargers' OffCo, Cam Cameron, as their new HC.

Now we've two more teams finished for the season, will Belichick consider his future. After all, he's achieved everything. What about the Raiders' search: will they manage to attract anybody (at all :D )? David Beckham would probably do the job if the money was right. :p

The Big Tuna swims off into the wide blue yonder!

    Will he ever coach again?

Shame to see him go, was such a character.

I'd say the manner of the defeat to the seahawks was the final nail in the coffin.

Odds on Al davis giving management a go?

So the Raiders hire the youngest HC of the modern era, Lane Kiffin, not yet 32! He's younger than 9 of his players! He was Offensive coordinator at USC.

Has Al Davis lost his mind? I suppose things can only get better for the Raiders, especially on offence.

After a 14-2 season, Marty gets the sack. Who replaces him? Can they do any better (than 14-2)?

    Story here.

    I love this bit:
"This decision was so hard because Marty has been both a friend and valued coach of our team," Spanos said in a statement.

I wish I had friends like that! :p

Also, Wade Phillips in Dallas? Not a spectacular record as a HC (0-3 in play-offs)

I'd love to see Cowher go to the Packers.

Eh? After McCarthy has an 8-8 record to start with?

I think chargers will really struggle next year now. All of their main coaches have left, there's going to be a complete over haul of staff and it might take them a while to get going.

Also, since its so late, there is very few decent standard of HC's left.
