    Hi

We (2 adults and 3 kids) are going to eurodisney on Wednesday next. Does anyone have any ideas of the best way to get from Beauvais to Eurodisney?

    Any information gratefully received!

I did a quick google and got these two hits first up:

    http://www.tt-prestige.com/disneyland.html & http://www.rstransports.com/

There are other threads on boards about this and it's not really an easy trip on public transport with kids, depending on their ages as it would involve a bus to paris and then a train from there, followed by taxi to your hotel. General consensus previously has been that flying to Charles de Gaulle is the best option, but I presume it's too late for that now.

Another option might be to hire a car.

I've done it from Beauvais and Charles de Gaulle to Eurodisney and both times used a hire car. Its the simplest way of doing it, but that depends on whether or not you can drive on the other side of the road.

    Hi Strawberry Jam

Did the same trip a few years ago. Bus from Beauvais to Paris, Train to Eurodisney, Bus to hotel. Pickpocketed on the train, they tend to watch this route for tourists.
All in all a hellish way to go.
If you can get a private bus or use the links ( more expensive) but a lot less hassle.

Thanks all for your replies. I had wondered about going the public transport route but have decided against!

The flights were very cheap to Beauvais but I suppose there has to be a catch - I think it is still cheaper even though the bus to Eurodisney seems to be about half the price from CDG.

    Thanks again for your replies.

Just go to Charles de Gaulle. The hassle involved is in no way worth the few quid. Aer Lingus and citi jet fly daily for reasonable prices. I guess you assumed Ryanair were cheaper without doing the full maths. Beauvais is cheap for a reason.

Its easy to go to CDG if you live in Dublin but if you live near Shannon its better to go with Ryanair. I drowe close to Eurodisney recently and its really well signposted from about 100 km away, maybe you should chance a hire car.

It's not. CDG is 9 minutes (or so) by TGV from Marne-La-Vallee Chessy.

As a follow up - I have just booked return shuttle from Beauvais to Disney for €220 for us all. It seems like a huge amount except I think it is still cheaper than flying to CDG as we got all our flights for under €170 inclusive.

It is definately something I will take into account on furture trips! Thanks for your replies.

1200euro with airlingus compared to 300euro for 4 with ryanair. Think the shuttle bus looks a good idea. Still less than airlingus.

cheapest option is to hire a car one way form Beauvais to Eurodisney - hand it in at Chessy and hop on the courtesy bus to your hotel - book it again to take you back to the airport - less then €40 each trip! You won't need a car while you are there..

good tip - go to ryanair site and click on car hire and then book the car there through Hertz, their partner ....should you just book it direct from the regular Hertz site it will cost you nearly 3 times the price:eek: A lot oass stress then taking public transport and changing at bus depot at Port Maillot etc etc...

Shuttle sounds lovely but it is nice to spend that extra money soemwhere else:D

Thats the best way to do it, no stress involved, well worth it.

When you add in changing terminals, queuing for a ticket (which you will do if you're getting child fares) it gets close enough to the duration of the Shuttle Bus from CDG.

I am travelling to Eurodisney from Beauvais next March. Hiring a car does sound like the best option. Looked at Hertz site and its £41 sterling each way but can't see any destination called Chessy. Please advise :)

    Disneyland TGV Railway Station:)

I don't think it is as cheap an option as it used to be, but it is still worth checking out as an option anyway

15€ for TGV train from CDG Terminal 2 to Marne La Vallée-Chessy, the Euro Disney station. Takes 11 minutes on average.

If coming into Beauvais, you can take either the shuttle bus to Porte Maillot (13€), 75 minutes, then Metro Line 1 + RER A to Marne La Vallée-Chessy (6,45€), 50 minutes, or take a train from Beauvais city center to Paris to Gare du Nord (16€), 100 minutes (incl. shuttle between airport & train station), and then RER to Disney (6,45€), 50 minutes.

Obviously the CDG TGV train is the cheapest & quickest option. Then again, if your airline ticket is a couple hundred quid extra, that makes it less attractive.

Keep your wits about you on the trains to avoid being pick-pocketed (i.e. put your wallet in the front pocket of your trousers).

    Best regards,

    Ben

    Hi,

This is a bit late 4 any1 going 2 Disney Thru Beauvais but it might help some1. I've been fying Thru Beauvais 4 many years now & I always use a shuttle transfer company. It's just so much less hassle, especially when you've got kids in tow. I always use the same company & they're great; cheap & helpful. And they speak English.
    Here's the link: http://paristransfer.valeurproperties.com.
I usually just call, here's the phone Num: 0033 665566121

    Hope this helps;

    R

They look to be good value for a family going to Disneyland.

    Hi Anyone and Everyone,
I got the name of an airport transfer company called "www.ezyshuttle.com" from these pages and I must say they were brilliant. Our driver was an Irish guy called John, he was very helpful and the whole experience was very pleasent. I would highly recommend this company to anyone going from Beauvais to Disney.

    Jim
