XBOX (Original) DVD remote kit - where to buy?

    Anyone know where I might pick up a dvd remote control kit for the old xbox. Dublin area please. Any help appreciated.

    Of course, with the softmod you're planning, you don't need one.....

    XBMC with a wireless controller does the same job

    There are indeed. I got a couple of these a while ago. The batteries last for ages. Well worth it.

    Each to their own I guess. Would wreck my head using the controller as a permanent solution, even a wireless one.

    I picked up 2 in Game in Dundrum before Xmas. On a stand on the wall opposite the Tills.

    Now have 3 xboxes running XBMC. 1 for each display in the house. Those in combination with 3mbit BB, Unlimited Cap and bit-Torrent = TV heaven!! :D

    Thanks for all the replies. I am buying a remote from a guy on adverts.ie. Cant wait to get cracking with my newly modded xbox with XBMC :D installed, should have done this ages ago! Thanks again.

    Well, to be honest, I've never owed a DVD remote and have always used the wireless controller. Is there stuff that you can do with the remote that makes it better than using the controller?
