Musselburgh 2.40 Tickateal should go close now that G Lee is back on board. Needs to reproduce some good form it showed last year, and to be honest it's recent efforts have not been too bad. Has won over this distance in the past so it should get the distance, and isn't too badly handicapped either. 2nd

Musselburgh 3.10 World Vision is very nicely handicapped thanks to the claimer on board after its latest visit to this course and should go close again, and might even snatch this if it can reproduce latest efforts. The claimer is fairly useful as well. 2nd

Newcastle 2.30 Scarlet Mix can go close after an impressive win last time out considering how it is handicapped here today. Very much in the mix (excuse the pun :p) and can take advantage of kempski's weight hike. It's an extra furlong today and providing it can jump fluently it should go close. nowhere

Newcastle 3.00 Stormy Beach won impressively last time out in similar company over this distance and should be able to show its class in this field. Should be able to take advantage of Mr Pickle's weight hike. nowhere

    Annie's Answer 13.00 Newcastle
Depending on whether or not she runs tomorrow, you would have to give her a chance but she does not want the ground too soft.Goes hurdling tomorrow after winnig two nhf races last year and won them both very well and if she can take to the sticks and the ground is with her she would have a good shout.

    Cloudy Lane 13.30 Newcastle
Did not have a hard race last time and should again account for Numero Un de Solzen despite being slightly worse off at the weights, the course wont pose any problems and he seems to jump sound enough and if he puts in a clear round will be very hard to beat.

    Guns And Butter 15.40 Mussl
Ran well here last time and should hopefully improve and if he does he shold be in with a big shout.

    Habitual Dancer

Course and distance winner (going and jockey were the same that day too and it was carrying less weight than it was then)

Wolver is a dangerous place but two capaills jumped out at me today.

320 : Hattan A pretty good horse on the turf who has been in some esteemed company throughout his career. On paper Id say he cost more than the rest of the field put together but the danger is can he handle the AW as well as Areyoutalkingtome  Im going to take a chance and hope he can ;)

350 Tyzack: Recent form is sh1te but loves the AW and all the recent runs were on turf. Hes changed trainer now and Im hoping for a place at a big price ;) IF he can reproduce his AW form.
992242- Second Reef - E J Alston

b g Second Empire (IRE) / Vax Lady

    5, 9-0 (21) (Drawn 13) - P M Quinn
fancy this horse for the 2:50 in Wolverhampton. Some relitevely decent form, up against nothing much. Probably worth her favourite status.

    3/1 chance

    3 reasons

    1) It won last time out convincingly (sp?)

    2) The support it's getting

    3) The boss who normally brings in knor oxtail soup which is my fav of all soups changed to you know what:eek: That sealed it for me.

Have him in my tracker myself after backing him last march. Hopefully he will come on for the nice break he has had as he looked knackered towards the end of the summer.

i see purple moon started to repay his enormous price tag. Didn't see the race, did he win well. looked a weak race IMO.

Anybody who backed it would have been a bit nervous watching the race. A 40/1 shot with Graham Lee on board was slightly ahead and looked to be going well jumping the last but Purple Moon quickened well and won cosily in the end. First two were well ahead of the rest of the field. Wouldn't call it an impressive display myself, more satisfatory.

I'm with you on Chicken Soup. Pitt has a very healthy 27% Strike Rate at Wolves, which shows profit if backed. Its a 7 day winner (always good in my book), Top of the RP ratings, Has a good stall draw, Proven on the polytrack at wolves, and likes the distance. My Nap of the day too.

Well.. I was right about Kempski's weight hike. :o Scarlet Mix nowhere. This was the dodgy bet of the 4 selections. Lets hope the others do better!
